  • Older travelers

The key card was very difficult to work and the problem was not solved by the hotel.

  • Family with children

The location was convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I liked the decor

  • Group of friends

Cleaning staff did not do the best job. ..Bathroom floor was not sparkling but that could be age of hotel. Glasses were never washed or replaced. Coffee amenities were not replaced when used.

  • Single

The decor was pleasant with nice views overlooking the city. The bed was comfortable.

Front desk personnel were not forthcoming with info about the amenities of the hotel--like there was coffee available in the lobby in the am on some days. This would have been nice to know, as there was no regular coffee available in the room--just decaf. The address of the hotel is totally misleading--it is not on St Francis Drive.

    - The desk staff was always hidden away. - The facilities originally were designed well, but have fallen into disrepair and have not been kept updated. - Shade in room was missing pull-cord.

  • Group of friends

I liked the view and the staff. The staff was very accomodating and friendly.

The room needed more outlets for plugging in phones, cameras, etc. It needed an exhaust fan in the bathroom and a towel bar to hang things on.

Good location for a stay in the north half of Santa Fe. Away from the hustle and bustle, but still only a 30 min walk to the Plaza. Attractive view onto town. Functional rooms (mostly). Wireless (no charge) wasn't fast but worked without fail. There's an option to get coffee to take away in the morning for $1 - good if you don't want a full breakfast.

Some lamps needed to be plugged in, and the TV cable needed tightening. As in many hotels of this type, putting the desk next to the A/C isn't ideal, and there should be more power sockets next to the desk. A/C was very loud, though effective. It would be nice to have a little fridge in the room, and the option not to have towels changed every day and/or a container for recycling.

  • Older travelers

Easy access to hotel and free shuttle to town, deep pool and not too crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the decor as well. Nice views.

Noisy, pool and spa needs work. King sized bed was comfortable however the sheets did not fit on the bed so a mess to sleep in.

  • Older travelers

Liked New Mexican decor, especially carpeting and ladder towel holder. Room was comfortable, ac worked well. Appreciated upgrade to junior suite.

The signal for wi-fi was nonexistent in the junior suite area we stayed in.

  • Single

Nice, clean facility and close to everything.

Restaurant closed rather early....would have been nice to have somewhere to go for a night cap etc.

  • Couple

We were pleased with the hotel, thought it was excellent value (got a great deal) location was good if you're not going to stay in the plaza - about a 20 minute walk - room was cosy but large and nicely decorated. Excellent shower and easy parking.

Pillows were pretty uncomfortable and pool was closed :( also fitness centre very average

  • Older travelers

I like the location, view.Style of hotel. Resteraunt on site.

Housekeeping seem to take short cuts in cleaning. On arival bathroom had hair in corners from prior guest. Never did get removed during our visit.(2 Nites) The same crumbs were on carpet duration or visit. It wasn't god awful, but we've stayed there for several years at Easter time and didn't experience that. I would still stay there, those are things I do notice.

  • Older travelers

Good price. I felt I got good value for my money. Great location close to downtown. Friendly helpful staff. Nice room.... Very comfortable.

Our first night was a Friday night. There was a "Salsa Night" in the hotel lounge that was loud enough to keep me awake for a couple of hours. The second of our two nights was great. No noise. Needless to say I am not a fan of live bands at hotels playing into the wee hours. If I wanted that kind of an evening I would simple go out to a good bar or other venue.

The surrounding within the hotel were pleasent and the location was satisfactory.

The internet was sub-standard; I suggest the server be maintained or upgraded. The bed was not as comfortable as other I've experienced; this could be improved greatly. The restaurant and bar closed too early, like 9 pm; myself and many other guests I seen could have benifited from longer hours. The TV did not wok initially and could be upgraded (LED Flatscreen, etc.); I have experienced much better TVs in less of a hotel.

It was a very comfortable room. Very nice facility and I so appreciated the honesty and integrity of the employees. Thank you.
